Top 5 Travel Beauty Must Haves For The Light Packer

Mud Mask

There are certain travelers that pack everything but the kitchen sink in their luggage.  They are the ones sweating at the airport trying to desperately stuff a high heel into their carry-on hoping that they can get under 1 pound on the scale at the check-in counter.

On the opposite end of the spectrum are those that prefer to pack hardly anything.  These are the people that prefer to only bring a backpack on a three month trip throughout Europe.  That doesn’t necessarily mean that the light packer doesn’t like to look presentable, however.

Here are the beauty must haves that will keep you looking good on your trip, and fit nicely into your backpack.

A Hairbrush

A messy head of hair is a no can do.  Depending on where you are going on your trip, you never know when you will have running water, what the weather conditions will be like, and where you might be sleeping.  You can also never be sure when you will have access to a hair dryer.

Therefore, packing a brush to stroke through your hair is a must.  It doesn’t have to be big or fancy.  You can often find travel brushes which fold in half, saving you even more space for other things that you have packed.

BeautyFace Wipes

Washing your face on the go can be tricky.  Sometimes you find yourself running from train stations to airports, or hopping in cabs onto buses.  The adventurer doesn’t always have the luxury of a full beauty station.

Therefore, face wipes are a great way to have a clean face on the go.  Why a clean face you ask?  A dirty face not only looks like you just woke up in a barn, but it can also feel awful and uncomfortable and lead to acne.  Nobody wants to deal with acne on a vacation!

Simply carry a pack of face wipes in the outside front pocket of your backpack and wipe your face of a few times a day cleaning off excess oil, dirt, or pollution.

Mascara

If there is one thing you can do for yourself in the mornings to look more awake after a cup of coffee, it is making your eyes pop.  The nice thing about mascara is it is a small little package that packs a lot of punch.

Don’t worry about it weighing down your bag or taking up space.  Throw a little mascara in your backpack and apply it in the mornings and you’ll be glad you did.

MaskMoisturizer

Dry skin can make you feel haggard and uncomfortable.  Especially if you are in a dry and hot place.  Carrying around a small container of moisturizer to use on your hands or face is a must have on an adventure.
